Angelica Fernandez Works

Artist's Statement: I was born in Santiago, Chile, in 1964. I lived in New York between 1987 and 1990. I
am currently a resident of Chile and live in Santiago.
My profession is landscape designer. In parallel to my professional activities, I always
explored drawing and painting. I first started on my own and focused primarily on
nature and still lives.
I started with decorative ornaments, flowers, animals and nature in general,
and later incorporated the human figure, and more recently the exploration of abstract
art.
Over time, I decided to devote myself to art seriously, and studied painting with some
of the most recognized Chilean artists.
I feel intimately identified with colors. I love to reflect emotions through my art and
through it express the joy of life. I feel realized when painting. And I seek to touch and
evoke enthusiasm in people who enjoy my creations. I'm constantly seeking
new ways to share my work and, through my art, spread joy to all.

I frequently participate in exhibitions in Chilean galleries and from time to time with
colleagues in some international exhibitions like Dubai in 2020 and New York in 2021.
